SENIOR MONITORING EVALUATION (ME) ADVISER
Who will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of the program’s ME activities in an International health project based in Nigeria which is contingent upon successful award of the contract.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The chosen candidate will be responsible for:
Implementing ME system for all project activities, including finalizing program indicators
Identifying and developing data sources, developing and maintaining systems for data collection and maintenance/storage
In co-ordination with COP and home office team,  prepare performance monitoring plans, as well as quarterly and annual rep[orts and other project documents;
Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of ongoing ME data, according to the project ME data, according to the project ME reports as specified by the client
Present results of program achievements and out-puts in written reports and at conferences and meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
Masters Degree (minimum), or PhD or MD 9desirable) in Public Health , Epidemiology, Statistics or other relevant field
8 years of relevant professional experience in Public Health, including significant experience in monitoring reproductive health and family planning programs highly desirable
Three or more years of international project experience, preferably in Nigeria
Experience it USAID desirable.
Excellent writing, computer, management and organizational skills, experience with STATA or SPSS highly desirable
Stro0ng interpersonal and communication skills, initiative and good judgement
Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
Ability to independently plan and execute complex task while addressing daily management details and remaining organized and focused on long-term deadlines and strategy.
